A for effort. This is a German style restaurant adjusted to the local marcet with some unusual twists. It is ok- ish knowing that you safe the flight. :-)

For Germans the heater is probably to strong, (2 degrees lower might be fine), but japanese will find it just fine.

The air can get sticky at times, the ventilation system seems to have an issue.

There are probably 25-30 seats. Staff is friendly and has hospitality.

Nomihodai (all you can drink) allows you try the Checz, Belgian and German beers to find your favorite.

I missed a solid salad but note that there are vegan options available.

Be aware that the Yoyogi sidestreet is...

As a German, I definitely recommend this place for cravings for German food and beer. The schnitzel is very close to home, and the beer is exactly as in Germany (i.e. original German imported beer). Only the prices aren't as I'm used to - which is understandable, yet makes this a place for special occasions only (around 1300¥ for a 0.5 ltr bottle of Paulaner Weissbier, 1000¥ for the Schnitzel plus 600¥...

We were surprised to find such good German food in Tokyo: the currywurst rivals ones that we’ve had in New York and I have yet to find spaetzle at any other restaurant! The food was made fresh and everything came out piping hot for us to enjoy. COVID State of Emergency hours just now, last order at 7, close at 8pm.

Lucky chance to spot and drop in here for a couple pints and some sausages. Really liked the atmosphere, good service, selection. Seemed like excellent menu too, and our sausages and sauerkraut were fine, touch of mustard too. A bit off the side road, you will have to know or look for this place, to find it.
