We would have liked to give this place a 5-star rating. The host was very responsive, the location is good, and the check-in/check-out is very easy. But unfortunately, our stay was not as pleasant as we had hoped.
First, if you're planning to book for two people, be aware that the space is incredibly small. For example, it’s nearly impossible to open two suitcases on the floor and still have room to walk comfortably. The cramped layout makes it very easy to trip and potentially injure yourself.
The overall layout of the room felt poorly designed and extremely tight. There was a TV installed directly across from the entrance door, but only one chair in the room. This made it impossible to watch TV from the bed, as you couldn’t see it from either the top or bottom bunk. The stairs to the top bunk also took up a significant amount of space, and the bottom bunk had a wooden fence around it, making it difficult for an adult to get out of bed comfortably. While this setup might work for a solo traveler or someone traveling with a child, it certainly wasn’t ideal for two adults.
The room wasn't as clean as other places you visit or stay at in Japan. Also, the bathroom sink (toilet/sink combo) didn't have warm water. We were using the kitchen sink to brush our teeth or wash our hands, which was uncomfortable and unhygienic.
Overall, the room felt overcrowded and poorly laid out. I wouldn’t return to this space, and I would recommend that, if possible, spend a little more money for a room where you can move around and relax comfortably during...
