Wow, this was truly why we came to Japan. My travel partner, my daughter, loves ramen so we flew to Tokyo for just that reason. We googled the best Ramen and this place came in number one on a few websites. We had to try. We knew it was going to be good from the beginning when there is a long line/wait time. We were told 40 minutes but it was closer to 20. That is fine with us. You go down a set of stairs (they had an elevator), order on the machine that looked like an ATM and then you are guided into the next room where you choose your flavor level. We chose the recommend, medium flavors. The coolest part is each person has their own little cubicle to eat at. They open a little window in front of you and serve your food. I can’t tell you how flavorful this dish was. I wanted more but would have never been able to make it back up the stairs bc I was already stuffed. We are going back to this location again before our trip is up. They don’t need my recommendation to say how great this place is, it was...
Read moreCame in for lunch and was not disappointed. Ordered the signature broth which was quite rich and flavourful. The booths were a tad on the squashy side as there were partitions separating the diners, however it was manageable. Had to wait like 15-20ish minutes, however it wasnt so bad as we were out of the ice cold breeze. Service was great and very polite (as with everywhere else on Japan). There were individual water taps with every booth which was extremely convenient and thoughtful. The shop is located around the corner from the blue sign (the other corner is a watch store)….. you’ll thank me later as we had ti walk up and down the street several times before we located it (Google maps isnt the most friendly here in Tokyo). Note you will need to order and pay via the touch screen, the. fill out a piece of paper with noodle and broth preference and then you are given yiur...
Read moreOne of the best ramen that I ever ate! You can customize your ramen. I also love concept of the restaurant.
First, you must order through an order machine. Second, bring your receipt to your table (you have private table, like a cubicle). Third, write down your customize ramen request in a form (every table has this form). Fourth, give your receipt and request form to restaurant staff through a small window in your table. Five, the staff will give your ramen through the window, you wont see the staff's face at all. Last, enjoy your ramen!
I recommend everyone to come to this place, so you can taste the richness of ramen stock and feel the...
