yksi SAUNA&STAY ユクシサウナ＆ステイ — Hotel in Tokyo

IG @danpape @springlearningofficial It was a very nice experience and I highly recommend yksi Sauna & Stay to anybody who’s a big fan of taking saunas. Real saunas, let me explain.

Numerous times in Japan I’ve been very disappointed in the sauna experience due to the rules and regulations that are normally found in public pools. The saunas, typically, are just warm rooms and very far from the therapeutic experience that I used to enjoy when I was back in Canada. Going there was a pleasant surprise and a much needed change. I had nearly given up on Saunas in Japan.

First I’ll start with the sauna room. The sauna room had a bath and shower area which I immediately filled up the bath with the coldest water. I then went to the flat screen and set up my Netflix, just in case. Once I had settled in to the sauna room, I proceeded to heat it up with the cold bucket of water that was provided when I arrived. Before I began, there was a knock at the door with a member of their kind team giving me a complimentary drink. I had four to choose from so I chose the Ion Water. By the time I got back to the sauna it was already piping hot! Going back-and-forth between the sauna and the cold bath was exceptional. I took breaks and watched Netflix occasionally because the booked time spot was 90 minutes, from 8:30~10:00pm. It was awesome.

Now for the rooms, the rooms were very well kept and extremely clean. I thoroughly enjoyed the sauna experience and took a shower in the sauna room so I didn’t have any need to use the bathroom, but it was nice to have just in case. The Room also had Netflix equipped, Hulu, and all the common streaming platforms to make it to enjoyable if you wanted to watch a movie or a series during your stay. I decided to hit the English Pub only 10m from there instead.

All in all it was a wonderful experience and I’m definitely gonna go back on a regular basis. I think someday they’ll know be name.

Simple, Clean, and Pure Relaxation – Just Like Back Home!

As someone from Scandinavia, I can confidently say—this private sauna nailed the vibe. The room is simple, clean, and has that modern Scandinavian style that feels both minimal and cozy. Nothing over the top, just exactly what a good sauna space should be.

Everything was spotless, the staff were super friendly and helpful, and the whole place is really well set up. The quality of the sauna itself is excellent—guilty of making me want to come every single day. And I just might!

Pro tip: If you go on a weekday morning (until 10:30), there’s a special offer price. Totally worth it.

ALMOST the perfect hotel … I’ve always thought as long as the location is good, it’s very clean, has a great shower I’ll be happy. This lovely hotel was all the above but there were NO DRAWERS!! It’s ok for 1 or 2 nights probably but we were staying for 6. I wanted to totally unpack but couldn’t so had to live out of the case which I hate. Couldn’t keep the room tidy. So please just get some drawers where the 3rd chair is (under the desk) and while you’re at it, add some hooks for coats, towels and the dressing gowns you have thoughtfully provided.
