I was craving curry for lunch and stopped by this Indian curry spot. There are actually two restaurants in the same building—one on the first floor and one on the second. After looking at the menus, I chose the second-floor restaurant since it offered more variety.
I ordered the three-curry lunch set (around 1,500 yen). One was the chef’s special, another was the daily green curry, and the third was a very spicy option. Flavor-wise, they were decent overall—I’d rate them about 3.8 out of 5. The naan stood out the most for me: it had a chewiness almost like sourdough while still keeping the structure and flavor of naan, which I really enjoyed.
On the other hand, the salad wasn’t very fresh, and I left some of it untouched. Service-wise, the staff were straightforward and direct—not the more polished, highly attentive style you often find in Japanese restaurants. It wasn’t rude, just a different style, but worth noting for anyone expecting the typical Japanese service experience.
Overall, for the price, it was an acceptable lunch, but I probably wouldn’t go back to this one. Next time, I’d be curious to try the first-floor...

I missed the afternoon tea set time so I ordered them separately. It's a better value to order the afternoon set.
The items were a bit hit or miss. The date and walnut paste was good. The carrot barfi with the milky topping was good. The silver foil covered whitish diamond fudge was good. One tasted horrible... Maybe it was an item frozen that cannot freeze well? Like cottage cheese ball but... so bad. It's rare to be able to try sweets like this at an Indian restaurant so it was definitely interesting.
The chai tea in the afternoon is all-you-can-drink and okay.
Tons of energetic university students here so if you don't like noise, don't come. It's definitely not an ochitsuiteiru 落ち着いている quiet environment.
The staff member was polite but not really friendly. Seemed a bit rushed and busy, a little impatient.
I don't know if the curry and other items here are...
Read moreA bit confusing in that there's two restaurants. The second floor (where I ate) has 60 seats and is for the rest of India, while the ground floor is a little smaller with South Indian. Very relaxing atmosphere, but I couldn't get an identification for the music. Indian guitar? Big TV is just showing a picture of a guitar. Staff is mostly Indian rather than Nepali. Large bar, but perhaps from a conversion? Wi-Fi available on request.
Seafood curry of the day was quite good, with shrimp and shellfish and squid. Spice level by the curry and the medium for this one was pretty strong. Naan was very good and the rice was average. The papad was nice. Average salad and coffee better than expected. Strong 4...
