This is supposed to be one of the "good" universities in Japan yet they can't even organize a simple test properly lmao. I took the JLPT N2 here today at a nearby campus and it was the worst experience ever. Besides the comically small desks and sauna-like temperature of the exam hall, the amount of asinine, pointless rules they had was ridiculous. I've never had to deal with this at previous JLPTs.
What was worse, however, was the disgusting attitude of the lady in charge of my exam room. She was so RUDE, constantly barking orders at everyone like we are little school kids. She loudly and aggressively singled me out in front of the whole room for using my phone during the rest period, yet blatantly ignored other people using their phones with the sound on, starting to write before the start signal, and otherwise not following the rules. Idk what her problem was. She also had no concept of personal space, and would reach over my desk and knock all of my stuff over when handing out papers or to complain to people. Was kinda gross to be honest.
Additionally, two of the older male staff interrupted the listening section by talking loudly during one of the questions and opening the door several times. Hope I never have to come here again for the next test.
So, yeah, big thanks to Sophia Uni for making the Dec 2023 JLPT a very pleasant...
