This place is fantastic. I have been living in Japan for 10 months now and I have been to way too many curry locations to count. This location is my second favourite in all of Japan so far, by number one being in Osaka. The staff were extremely polite, and the man serving us was always smiling while asking questions or making kind conversation. The cheese naan was delectable! They do not skimp out on the cheese, and it has a pleasing flavour. The curry, as others have said, is a bit more milky than most I have had, but I think of it as more of a uniqueness than a downside! It's delicious and perfect for mixing with your naan, rice, or other choice of food. The mango lassi was amazing, not too sweet, not too thick, and a good yogurt taste. The salad wasn't my favourite of the salads I have had at these types of restaurants, it looks a little lackluster compared to the rest of your course, but the dressing was still a nice sweet-ish taste.
Price-wise, it is about $3 more than my the average set meal I would get at these kinds of restaurants for lunch, but I believe it was worth it. Definitely going back again before...

We went there looking for a vegetarian option to eat as Tokyo is seriously lacking and Japanese food is very meat/fish heavy. We found lots of very tasty vegetarian curries and were very satisfied !
We had the kadai paneer, palak paneer and the mixed vegetable curry. They were all really tasty, the palak paneer was my favourite.
Naan bread and rice were great too but they were a little different from what we are used to receiving in other countries.
The bread seemed to have more of a texture of typical Japanese white bread and the rice was sticky like a typical Japanese sushi rice. Definitely not bad, just different! And I suspect it has something to do with his typical clientele preferring this type of rice and bread ? Not too sure.
All in all, great restaurant! Would...
Read moreI was in japan for vacation, and I stayed in APA hotel ryogoku. On my 3rd day, I wanted to take a break from Japanese food and while I was strolling around the area, I saw a signage of this Indian restaurant. I came to see what kind of food they have, and to my surprise, they had a lot to offer. Took me a while to figure out what to eat and ended up trying their set menu and cheese nan. It tasted fantastic. I came back for dinner and tried their biryani and chicken tikka, it was amazing. The staffs are really friendly. Highly...
