This was my very first meal when I visited Japan. I had just checked into my hotel just down the road and after a 15 hour journey I was starving. My Japanese was poor as was my confidence in my ability to use it, but the lady of the shop sat me down and helped me order what I to this day believe was the best ramen I've ever had! In the store, antiseptic solution and acrylic board are installed as a measure against infectious diseases. I was thinking of getting fried rice, I found the chilled Chinese characters and ordered them immediately. "Gome chilled Chinese" 950 yen. "Bon bon chicken chilled Chinese" 1000 yen.
