Itamaebar Live Fish Market Hibiya gourmetzone — Restaurant in Tokyo

I visited this restaurant by chance and ordered one set of sashimi and one set of sushi. I must admit that it was the worst experience I've had in Japan. I was expecting the fish to be fresher, but it seemed to have been sliced beforehand and stored in a box, which made it feel less fresh. When I tried the sushi, I found the rice was not tasty and didn't hold together well.

I would appreciate it if you could improve the taste of the food and pay more attention to the freshness. While the prices are reasonable, the quality does not meet my expectations, and I feel reluctant to spend money under these circumstances. I’m not trying to criticize harshly; rather, I hope for improvements and to ensure consumers are not taken advantage of, even if they come alone.

This is an English-friendly place in Ginza Tokyo and has decent sashimi. Though it is a bar, the sushis are pretty good too!

Around the street between Ginza and Hibiya, there are nice places for teppanyaki, sushi, ramen, Udon etc. However, this is one of the better sashimi / fish places we found - try it out if you're looking...

Visited this place at the end of January. Good food but serving was very slow. Waited tuna roll for more than 15 minutes and couldn't cancel it because it was in the way. Waited another 5 minutes.. seared yellowtail was fantastic and must eat as this is the best season to eat. Sake glass...
