A bit sad to see that this place gets a little bit under score because in my opinion this place deserved more stars!
I write my honest review here. Me and my friend were going to this place as the last option because we just played gatcha and we were too tired to go outside for eat. As I am a vegetarian, this place should be the only vegetarian friendly restaurant in Sunshine City. I was made sure to the staff whether they can make vegetarian friendly menu and they could do it + my friend also craved for Thai foods.
We had short interaction almost with all the staffs. The middle-aged man with glasses in cashier was really friendly. The only woman staff was also friendly too and followed with the 2 helpful young men staffs. First, they asked us to order from barcode but if we did it, I couldn't put notes to make it vegetarian. Glad the young man was taking our order manually.
For the food taste, it might be not the tastiest Thai food I've had but the portion and the price were really affordable in Japan. I was happy too because the staff proactively offered me to add tofu to my fried rice because I asked them to remove any meats (which most restaurants won't offer your for any substitute).
I am not sure about the staff's ability to talk in Japanese because later on we talked to them in English. However, they should be able to communicate in Japanese because we asked our first question using Japanese. In my opinion, this is the best place for Thai in Japan to visit because most of the staffs can speak Thai and somehow we were happy to hear it because we miss Thailand. By eating to this restaurant, it brought us back to the moment when we were in Thailand. For my visit, it was a...

Let me just get to the point—this is my worst Thai food experience. We ordered Pad See Ew and coconut chicken curry. I honestly don’t know how any Thai restaurant could mess up such core dishes.
The Pad See Ew was extremely salty with undercooked noodles. As for the coconut chicken curry, there was no coconut or chicken flavor—the chicken looked like leftover scraps, tough and difficult to chew. I started off with a 4-star rating because they made us wait 10 minutes despite the restaurant being mostly empty. After the first bite, it dropped to 3 stars, and I’d give it zero if I could. I’m the type of person who always finishes their plate, but I had to fight with every bite and still couldn’t do it.
The jasmine rice tasted artificial, lacked any real rice flavor, and wasn’t hot. We also ordered mixed vegetables, but the soy sauce paste was too thick and overly salty, as if trying to mask something.
The only reason they’re still around is likely because tour guides dump their guests here.
I would not recommend this...
Read moreGreat tasting Thai food and generous portions. Out of all of the restaurants on the third floor, I find it is one of the least busy which means a shorter waiting time, however this by no means discredits the food. Spice level is not so terrible considering it's Japan so it's possible the average customer may find the spice level challenging - in a good way!
My additional Tom yum soup did take quite a bit longer to arrive than my lunch set, but a good...
