Great little "ramen" shop we stumbled upon, while walking within the area around our hotel. The broth is very tasty, just the noodles are thin, but I can live with that, because they tasted like proper dandan noodles (chewy) and not like angel hair pasta. We also ordered the gyosa, which are huge and delicious. Good variety of soup flavors, fast/good service and an English menu are appreciated as well.

Great little "ramen" shop we stumbled upon, while walking within the area around our hotel. 10/5 star place! I got the dandan noodles with pork spareribs, for me, this was the best noodle dish I had in Japan so far. The girl that served gave me an english menu without me having to ask, and was very friendly. The atmosphere is just like any other counter eatery, but booths are available. Hands down the best spicy ramen I have found in Tokyo. I love spicy food and ramen and have tried a lot of other ramen shops that claim their ramen is spicy and have been very disappointed. Here, you can choose your level of spiciness and it is a perfect balance between spice and a rich flavor. They have non-spicy options too and their water has a very light lemon flavor to it which I appreciate.This place also has an English menu and they are friendly with good service and are very reasonably priced. Highly recommend this place. I have eaten here a number of times now since staying in Ueno. I keep going back because...
