There are many katenzushi (conveyer belt sushi) shops in Kichijoji, where we live, but this one, Kaitenzushi Misaki is our favorite. It's cheap. It's fast. And the quality is fairly good. It's all counter, with the conveyer coming out from the kitchen, circling around the center counter, and back into the kitchen. You have a tablet in front of you to make your selections. They have a good selection. If you're not sure what you want, just watch what's moving around the conveyer belt, and grab what looks good. New plates are continually added in the kitchen. Be careful not to grab a dish that looks like it's been going around many times. We feel it's best to personally order. That way you're assured of freshness. The beer is cheap, and there is a cup of green tea powder and a tap of hot water in front of you to make your own ocha for free. When you're finished, just click "finished" on the tablet.
