Stir-Fried Seafood & Egg with Curry Sauce 🦐🦑🥚🥘🇹🇭 @krungsiam_kichijouji

As the weather gets warmer my mind starts to think about sunny beaches and my stomach begins to crave Thai food! 🇹🇭

Krung Siam in Kichijoji is always busy during lunchtime, with a boisterous atmosphere & cheerful staff. 👩🏻‍🍳

For those who aren't so good with hot & spicy dishes, I recommend their stir-fried seafood & egg curry dish, which comes with rice (I requested a large portion of rice which is free of charge), a small spring roll and soup. 🥣

Being super hungry (greedy😒) I also ordered a small bowl of Gapao rice, which was nice & spicy, just the way I like it! 🥵

The spring roll was savoury, with a sticky rice paper skin, crushed peanuts which go well with the spicy dip. The chewy consistency was delicious. 😋

Note that the soup, with high levels of acidity is very spicy, so be sure to ask for a non-spicy one if necessary. 🙆🏻‍♂️

The curry contained generous amounts of prawns, squid, onions, celery, green & red paprika, together with fluffy egg in a mild curry sauce with almost no spice. ☺️

Along with pad thai noodles, this is a perfect introductory dish for those who are new to Thai food, and can eventually work their way up to spicier dishes such as yellow/red/green curry and gapao. 🌶

Check the menu, as it has a spice symbol next to each item to indicate the level of hotness for easy reference! 👀

Krung Siam, downstairs on a narrow alley in center Kichijoji, is quite good. They have Thai cooks and a good selection on the menu. Last time, we enjoyed the pad thai, fried chicken, and yellow coconut curry, but all the items are quite tasty. Some dishes can be a bit spicy, but I love spicy food. Holy moly this place has the fastest lunch service I have ever witnessed - 2 minutes from ordering they are already serving you!

Food is delicious, the spices are from real peppers, so the hotness is not the stingy type but this glowing type, which I love! This place is actually quite cheap too, portions are big. I would definitely come again, as it's right next to the 2 game...
