I'd guess at least 60 seats in a downstairs location. Described as a lower plaza or something. Nepali staff but a vanilla Japanese atmosphere, including the TV. No W-Fi or charging. I think the building is too new for it to be a former izakaya, but maybe that style is the only one the decorator knows? It feels like it would be good for parties. Refillable naan and rice and good price, though I'm not sure what to make of the SDG stuff on the menu. Clashes with the plastic straw? The waitress seemed better with English than Japanese.
My curry of the day was shrimp butter curry, but it reminded me of some Thai styles. Quite tasty, though the spice level is on the Japanese side. Neither thick nor thin base? The naan was definitely on the sweet side, but fluffy and nicely cooked and delicious. The included piece of chicken Tikka was good, too. Salad and coffee were average, so oveall I am calling it a solid four stars.
