One of the best cheesecake's I've had in Japan 😋
Despite being located in a lowkey neighborhood, this cafe is something you shouldn't miss (especially if you're staying near the Asakusa area). Upon entering the cafe, the wonderful woman who runs the place will greet you with a smile and ask you to sit anywhere you like. Since the theme of this cafe centers on wood work, I was immediately enveloped by the relaxing smell of wood from the various wooden items on display 🌳
But the best part of this cafe is indeed it's cheesecake. It leans more towards the firm side and has a perfect balance of sweetness. The whip cream went extremely well with the cake and even enhanced it's flavor! It also came with a very very sweet piece of grape, I have never tasted such a sweet grape before 🤩 I also ordered their special coffee blend which paired nicely with the cheesecake. It has a subtle sour taste that I loved and enjoyed drinking ☕️ Also, I must emphasize that it was quite affordable as well! I paid less than 1000 yen for my afternoon sweet treats, quite rare for Tokyo these days 🥰
The atmosphere of the cafe was excellent as well. I came during a weekend so I actually expected the place to be packed. I was pleasantly surprised to find that not much people were inside. It was a very peaceful environment 🧘♀️
Overall, I had a wonderful time at this cafe and hope more people...
