We researched izakayas to visit and this place popped up. Travelled as a family of four adults from out of country. Walked up the narrow dark stairs right at opening time. The man saw my adult daughters and mumbled something in Japanese to them. My husband came up next and the man said something to the effect of “no reservation” or “”no room” or “full”. But whatever it was we were refused service. We came at exactly 5:00 and the place was empty! Therefore I cannot recommend this place as they were not welcoming to us. Read moreI had a course meal with a three hour “all you can drink” with a discount coupon. The food itself is medium, not exactly high cuisine but not bad either. The service on the other hand is slower than a snail on valium! 10 minutes to get a hold of a staff and ten more minutes to get the drinks served. Also they have a policy that you can’t order a new drink until you finish the first one, which lends me to believe the delay is on purpose.
