I'd like to recommend this restaurant to you, but I can't. I simply cannot in good conscience mislead you, my dear reader, with false claims of cost efficiency, amicable service and culinary delights. I will compliment the façade of this restaurant, an exterior that exudes European style combined with the image of Moroccan hospitality and culinary prowess, but it is all just a show. The true story is quite different. My partner and I, were victims of misrepresentation for imagine our surprise when our cous cous arrived, after a long, suspense filled wait, to find that it was actually rice. The mergez was adequate, the falafel was different.I fear a negative review does nothing to help customer nor restaurant, but i will note that all patrons I witnessed leave the restaurant, did so with a face absent of joy, satisfaction and happiness. Shall further add recommendations for the owner:
You need to lower your prices You ought to hire more staff You should give training for staff on being friendlier and more attentive You best hire more chefs You may want to change some of the recipes
To end, I would like to let you all know that I had no particular qualms with the food, however my partner was severely disappointed and we both left with dry throats, in the two hours we remained there, we received no water. The water we had requested, remained elusive and for that reason, my heart aches to caution you against this restaurant. I wish the restaurant all the best in the future and prithee heed my words, draw wisdom from my counsel...
Read moreBooked a table for 2 for birthday celebration and drove 3 hours, and we were placed in the smallest, worst and uncomfortable seat in the restaurant when the restaurant was basically empty with only 2 tables full out of 6. We rang him twice in advance and booked a table for a special occasion and told him we are coming from Ibaraki yet he just couldn’t save a better seat for us. When we asked to move to an empty booth table across from us, he said ‘no’.
The food was average and in very small portions for a very big price. We ended up paying over ¥7000 for a small meal for two people. Moroccan bread was extra charge for whipping ¥400 was just heated up frozen ‘pita bread’, and of course ¥400 over-priced Moroccan tea was just of basic mint tea in a teabag with sugar.
Bad customer service with no focus of building customer relationship, and we will never drive 3 hours again to pay ¥7000 to sit in the worse area of the restaurant eating basic Costco food.
Thanks but no thank you!...
Read moreI had the worst dining experience at this restaurant. The staff was unfriendly from the start. The menu was confusing and misleading, with overpriced items that felt like a complete scam.
We ordered food for three people, expecting appropriate portions, but they brought out a single plate of food—barely enough for one person. When we questioned them about it, their response was, “This is our style. We serve on one plate, and customers share.” It was incredibly frustrating, especially since we were very hungry and had specifically sought out a halal restaurant for dinner.
The portion size and quality did not justify the price at all. This was not just disappointing; it felt exploitative. In all my time in Japan, I have never encountered service or behavior like this.
I would never return to this restaurant, nor would I recommend it to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this...
