An Unforgettable Culinary Journey in the Heart of Tokyo

★★★★★

My dinner at Le Petit in Tokyo was nothing short of absolute perfection. From the moment we stepped inside, we were transported from the bustling streets of Tokyo to a cozy, elegant brasserie that felt both authentically Parisian and uniquely Japanese in its impeccable service.

The ambiance is masterfully crafted—intimate, warm, and buzzing with a gentle, sophisticated energy. It’s the ideal setting for a special occasion or a romantic evening.

The true star, however, is the food. The menu is a brilliant homage to French classics, executed with technical precision and a subtle, respectful Japanese touch in the quality of ingredients

The wine list is thoughtfully curated, and the sommelier was incredibly knowledgeable, guiding us to a beautiful Burgundy that complemented our entire meal.

What elevated the experience from exceptional to unforgettable was the service. The staff was attentive, gracious, and genuinely passionate about the dining experience they provide. They anticipated our needs without being intrusive.

Le Petit is more than just a restaurant; it's a destination. It seamlessly blends the soul of French cuisine with the world-renowned hospitality and detail-orientation of Japan. It is, without a doubt, one of the best meals I have ever had. Merci beaucoup to the entire team at Le Petit for a magical evening. We cannot wait to return.

Highly, highly...

This restaurant is tucked away on the 36th floor of the ANA Intercontinental Hotel and a hefty 15 minute walk from the nearest train station.

The presentation and warm hospitality as you are greeted and ushered in is on par for the price point and venue.

The projection mapping on the plate in front of you was quite the entertainment even for adults - we brought our little one (8) and she enjoyed it. There is a kids menu available with more child-friendly options. A vegetarian menu is also available. As expected from an upscale French restaurant, the table d'hôte menu was all delicious, petit, and none were ever served hot - lukewarm at best. A noticeable disappointment.

Be mindful that everyone must be finished eating their specific course meal before the next presentation is played and dish is served - so there is a sort of timeliness to it but never so much where you will feel pressured to finish your plate. Our party thought the water was heavily overpriced so stick with the tap water option or prepare to pay ¥1500 for a glass of water.

Would I ever go back for a second round? Unlikely. It is a memorable experience that is best...

A bit pricey for a 5-course meal but the immersive culinary experience makes up for the price tag. We lucked out with a private room and the sweetest waitress. The food was actually tasty. The kids meal will look different than the petit chef “preparations” to tailor to younger palate.

It’s located on the 36F of ANA InterContinental Tokyo. Punctual arrival to reservation time is crucial as they synchronize every table’s show so if you show up late, you will have to eat very quickly to catch up to the next dishes.

Drink prices are high, as expected at a high end hotel. We asked for water instead…but realized when the bill came that it was Evian bottled water (paid over ¥2700 for two served to our table of four people during two hour lunch). So just budget a bit extra for your bill on top of the course meal price.

Overall, enjoyed the experience as a family. Don’t need to do it more than once but glad we got a chance to...

An absolutely extraordinary experience! From the moment you walk in, you realize that Le Petit Chef is not just dinner – it’s a show, perfectly choreographed and full of surprises. The table projections are creative, funny, and technically stunning, keeping you entertained from start to finish. The service is outstanding: attentive, warm, and always ready to help without ever feeling intrusive. You really feel looked after in the best possible way. The real highlight for me was the breathtaking view of the Tokyo Tower – like a postcard backdrop that made the evening even more magical. The combination of the food, the show, and that stunning view created an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended for anyone in Tokyo who’s looking for something truly special
