I visited right before opening on a weekend. I couldn't find the entrance, and even though several staff members saw me waiting, I wasn't shown to anything and ended up being the second person there.
Apparently, you choose your bread and then order your drink at the register, but no explanation was given. No greeting was also given. The plump figure woman who was taking my order and picking up bread was clearly annoyed, and I immediately regretted choosing to visit this store instead of a weekend morning. The cashier was not so bad.
There were only about six types of bread available at opening time, and she seemed to be irritating to customers who came early in the morning.
The atmosphere in the store was nice, so this kind of service was disappointing. The headquarters should be aware of this and take immediate action.
I do care the service and annoying customer from the very beginning of a day is very frustrating. NEVER COME BACK TO any of this bakery...

Alot of office workers around. The coffee was average, but the breads are good! The croissant is buttery, fragrant and slightly chewey with flakey crust. The highlight for us was the bread with red bean and salted butter. Heavenly pairing. We also had the chestnut loaf and it was good too! Absolutely recommend this bakery shop and worth the travel. I saw alot of people ordered their sandwiches for lunch, wanted to try em but we are just too full from...

Back at the hotel - it looked and tasted somehow undercooked in the middle - and weirdly when cut showed a spiral cross-section - like it had been formed by rolling it up - so slices fell apart - never seen that before.
And I think the European reviewer was right - not a patch on a proper Parisian baguette as I recall - so I won't be...
