Poor communication from staff members here.
We (and several other customers) were left waiting over an hour outside for seats with no communication from the waitress as to wait times, etc. There were empty tables in the Cafe but she showed no signs of letting anyone from the queue in. We had no idea why no one was let in until we saw people with reservations just show up and enter.
Look I think it is only fair if the staff communicates to everyone queuing outside that there’ll be customers with reservations coming in, and that the wait will be long.
It was terrible just waiting and staring into the partially empty cafe, hanging onto the false hope that the waitress might come out and usher us in. A...
I visited this cafe with a friend and my dog. This was my third time bringing my dog here. While we were waiting in line, the staff informed us that a group of reserved guests was about to arrive. At the time, we were the only ones waiting, yet we were told there would be a one-hour wait.
Since my friend was visiting Tokyo and I wanted to share this place for its famous parfait, I told the staff we were fine with waiting. The staff then went to confirm the situation, and a few minutes later informed us that we could only order parfaits. I responded that it was fine, as we would finish quickly. However, the staff also mentioned that only cash payments would be accepted. I agreed.
Once we entered the store, I noticed that there were plenty of empty seats available. We were seated by the entrance, and I didn’t see any reserved guests arrive. Gradually, other customers, including tourists, were seated and served without issue.
The overall experience was disappointing. After finishing our meal, the staff informed me that credit card payments were actually accepted, which left me confused as to why we were initially told that only cash payments were allowed.
This series of events left me feeling discriminated against, especially considering that my previous two visits had been pleasant, with great food. I had chosen to return and bring a friend specifically for the parfait, but this visit did not meet my...
Read moreIt’s a lovely cafe adorned with dried flowers, making the interior very pleasant and photogenic. The menu is interesting, and everything they serve looks wonderful, but the flavours are a bit underwhelming. The kumquat drink had a tiny fruit cut in half but was virtually tasteless. The black sesame pudding was rich and flavourful, but not particularly memorable. The chairs are not comfy, and you’re required to leave after exactly 90 min. It’s for those who just want to take instagram photos and don’t care about a relaxing cafe experience.
The good thing about it is that it’s...
