Love this place. In particular the lovely staff who work here. I have seen some peoples posts; and quite honestly you guys need to get with the times. Stop being so sensitive to the process regarding cash only, and regarding their "attitude" I can assure you they are both VERY VERY nice and genuine people; actually both with an incredible sense of humour.
Also - They know what they are doing; I l know they have been in the coffee business for a long time and have many highly regarded and famous customers daily, often because they have good quality produce.
If you want to use your laptop, go to Starbucks; because this place is more about enjoying coffee with friends or by yourself and enjoying being in the moment in this nice location. Don't over stipulate the overly process driven customer service culture which is good and bad in Japan and then use it to attack this beautiful cafe. They are doing their best every day and its a fkn good cafe.
I will always go here when im in Futako Tamagawa and to all you haters and 1 star reviewers...

They offer blends and single origin coffees brewed in an espresso machine or as hand drips. Their beans are provided by Coffee Wrights. Some simple Japanese sweets are also sold. A standard item is a roll spread with butter and sweet adzuki bean paste.
The interior is simply and tastefully decorated with small tables inside and a bench out front. The ceramic cups were made to order.
According to the husband and wife who run this cafe with such friendliness, they worked at Starbucks, then worked together at Blue Bottle coffee, and finally opened their own shop with some crowdfunding support! They really make you feel they are happy to make coffee and food for you.
Highly recommended for fans of good, third wave coffee and people who just like...
Read moreThe female staff seriously requires some education on basic business manners. I've never seen such incompetence and unprofessionalism. I wasn't treated as such, however, the way she treated some customers.. raised some alarms.. Like, is this a Kansai-area people behaviour or what? It doesn't matter.. just behave professionally please.
If she did that in my country, she would have to close the store in a month. And by the way, having no bathroom is also pretty stupid.
To be honest, the coffee was not bad, and the Red-bean butter sandwich was pretty tender and tasty... such a shame that this idiot had to ruin her business for everyone else. This might sound harsh, but just remove her from this business, or the store will run out...
