This is certainly a place for hard-core coffee drinkers. When you first enter the owner is quite clear that they serve coffee only, we as foreigners were quite welcome, contrary to other reviews that I’ve seen here. We selected a coffee from Yemen and a coffee from Timor, both were excellent and had the characteristics as advertised on the large number of information labels at the bar. Read moreI tried my best not to upset the old man. I failed. As a specialty coffee entusiast who drinks and make light roasts coffee on daily basis. Specialty coffee here is unexpectedly bitter and smoky for light roasts. May be barista want to brew "strong" coffee or this may be japanese style? It is not a bad cup of coffee but I don't think many people will enjoy. Customer service is beyond terrible. Rude, attitude and grumpy. Tourist/foreigner is not welcome here. Atmosphere was nice too, but nothing special and no washroom.
