Marion Crêpes is one of Harajuku’s most iconic dessert stops, nestled right on the bustling Takeshita Street—a neon-lit strip packed with fashion, food, and photo ops. With so many crêpe stands competing for attention, I chose Marion for its reputation and massive menu. They’ve been serving sweet and savory crêpes since 1976, and their name alone draws a steady stream of tourists and locals alike.

The menu is overwhelming in the best way—hundreds of combinations with everything from cheesecake and matcha to tuna salad and hot dogs. I went for a classic: cream, banana, and strawberries. While the flavor was good, I was a little disappointed by the balance—there was barely any fruit and a lot of whipped cream. So much, in fact, that I had to scoop some out. It’s definitely a treat for those with a serious sweet tooth.

The crêpes are served warm and wrapped in paper cones, perfect for eating on the go while weaving through the crowds. Seating is limited (and mostly nonexistent), so expect to enjoy your crêpe while standing or strolling. The staff were quick and friendly despite the rush, and the whole experience is very “Harajuku”—fast-paced, colorful, and a little chaotic.

If you’re in the area and want to check off a classic Tokyo street food experience, Marion Crêpes is worth a stop. Just be ready for sugar overload, and maybe opt for a combo with a little more balance if you’re not into...

I recently tried Marion Crepes on Takeshita Street in Harajuku, and it definitely lives up to its reputation! The crepes are light and crispy on the outside, with A BIG variety of fillings that cater to both sweet and savory cravings.

The highlight for me was their cream, I got number 172 and It was one of the best crepes I’ve ever had. The line was a bit long, but the crepes are made fresh, so it’s definitely worth the wait. The vibe on Takeshita Street is lively, and Marion Crepe’s casual, fun atmosphere makes it a great spot to stop and enjoy a treat while exploring the area.

If you’re in Harajuku, you have to try Marion Crepe, it’s a must-visit for any...

This place was on my must try list! It’s kind of hard to ignore the bright red booth and massive display of every crepe combination you can imagine. The menu is huge (and photo-based, which helped) with both sweet and savory options, though let’s be honest — we came for dessert.

Our crepes were handed to us warm, folded into that classic triangle shape, and filled to the edges. The whipped cream was super light (not overly sweet), the crepe itself was slightly chewy with crisp edges, and the fillings hit exactly the right balance of nostalgic and indulgent. It's definitely a “tourist must” but also genuinely good — way more satisfying than I expected for...
