I arrived right at opening time, but the register wasn’t set up yet, and the older female staff member seemed flustered. When I asked if there was McDonald’s Wi-Fi, she told me there wasn’t—only the airport’s, which she said is hard to connect to but suggested I try.

Having been away from Japan for a long time, I wasn’t sure, but I assumed most fast food places nowadays have their own Wi-Fi. (In fact, McDonald’s does have its own Wi-Fi, and I was able to connect just fine.)

Even after placing my order, I wasn’t given a receipt until I asked, and they forgot to include a straw with my set.

It’s a big-name chain, but the McDonald’s staff in my local area are more efficient and much more courteous.

Good service in affordable price. Though the line was a little longer than other McDonald's institutions (about 7-11) min wait. Inside it was also really crowded but it's OK due to the fact it was the end of the Japanese Holiday "The Golden Week"....
