log50 meat and wine bar
Orange Martini Bitter, refreshing, initially sweet with a hint of bitterness at the end, great drink, served with some Prosciutto, the saltiness paired very well with the drink.
The caprese salad was amazing, the tomato was impossibly sweet and delicious, could be soaked in a sweet mixture before serving but if all tomatoes were like this, no kid would ever not eat them. Paired with the custardy texture of the mozzarella and the richness of the olive oil, it’s very addictive. Black pepper is sprinkled on top for a light kick, if the taste weren’t already great enough.
The Kuroge Wagyu was also delicious, not too fatty, tender and had a wholly beef taste. Grilled very well. Condiments options are provided on the slab: Coarse Salt, Wasabi and Soy Sauce. The vegetables given with this dish are 2 pepper slices(Red and Yellow) and 1 quarter of a small-ish roasted potato.
This Lamb chop is absolutely not gamey, contrary to how Singaporeans usually view deer meat, it was fragrant with the smell of charcoal, meat and salt. While you might imagine lamb to be tough, it could honestly pass off as pork, it was easy to slice, tender and really didn’t need anything else but salt, pepper and a good fire.
The Sausage is made in-house, and unfortunately was the weakest of the dishes I ate, it didn’t have the satisfying snap compared to others I’ve had, and is basically a quality spicy sausage that’s just aight. Bangers and Mash, practically.
Overall, the whole meal cost me 6750 yen for a relatively wide variety of meats and a drink. Very much worth it, will try the carb dishes next time if I...
Read moreWe ordered a plate with 4 types of meat (5700 yens), we were first served with a plate of raw meat we thought was part of it but it wasn't. We then discovered they added it on the bill at the end without telling us (total bill 7480 yens). Too bad for this kind of questionable practices (I feel like I have been scammed to be honest) because the food...
Read moreThe dinner we had was okay in taste and the meat was very juicy. However, the portion was extremely small. The service was just so-so. There was a strong hidden charge. We were only informed that a 440-yen seat fee would be charged per person after we ordered. The tax was not shown on the menu either!! This greatly affected our...
