Located in the bustling heart of Shibuya City, Japan, MiPig Cafe is a delightful gem that promises an unforgettable experience for both animal lovers and cafe enthusiasts alike. As you step into this charming establishment, you're greeted by the delightful squeals and playful antics of the resident micro pigs, setting the stage for a uniquely memorable visit. The ambiance at MiPig Cafe is nothing short of enchanting. The space is cozy yet vibrant, with whimsical pig-themed decor adorning the walls and tables, creating a cheerful and inviting atmosphere. Whether you're visiting solo, with friends, or even on a date, the cafe's warm and welcoming ambiance instantly puts you at ease. Of course, the real stars of the show are the adorable micro pigs themselves. These pint-sized porkers are not only unbelievably cute but also incredibly friendly and sociable. As you interact with them, you can't help but be charmed by their playful personalities and affectionate nature. From snuggling up for a cuddle to eagerly accepting treats, the pigs at MiPig Cafe are sure to steal your heart. But MiPig Cafe offers more than just adorable animals; it's also a haven for foodies. The menu boasts a delectable selection of beverages and snacks, with something to satisfy every craving. Whether you're in the mood for a steaming cup of artisanal coffee, a refreshing fruit smoothie, or a sweet treat like fluffy pancakes or decadent cakes, you'll find it all here. What sets MiPig Cafe apart is its commitment to animal welfare and responsible pet ownership. The cafe takes great care to ensure that the pigs are happy, healthy, and well-cared-for, with plenty of space to roam and play. Additionally, the staff are passionate about educating visitors about proper pig care and behavior, fostering a greater appreciation for these intelligent and misunderstood animals. In addition to its charming atmosphere and adorable residents, MiPig Cafe also offers a range of special events and activities, from pig-themed art workshops to pig yoga sessions. These unique experiences add an extra layer of fun and excitement to your visit, making it truly unforgettable. Overall, MiPig Cafe is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Shibuya City and immerse themselves in a world of whimsy and wonder. Whether you're a dedicated animal lover, a food enthusiast, or simply seeking a unique and memorable experience, this charming cafe has something for everyone. So why not stop by, sip a coffee, cuddle a pig, and make some unforgettable memories at MiPig Cafe?

My recent visit to the Mipig cafe left much to be desired. While the micro pigs themselves were undeniably adorable and provided moments of joy, the rushed and somewhat unpleasant experience tarnished the overall impression. Upon arrival, it became evident that the promised 30-minute session was cut short to about 25 minutes, a fact mentioned in the agreement signed upon entry. However, this felt more like a tactic to push customers into paying for additional time and to extend if they’d like to spend more time with the micro pigs. The atmosphere inside was tense as employees rudely hurried customers to leave promptly after the allocated time, displaying an unwelcoming demeanor. Despite the option to extend the session, the pressure to vacate left little room for enjoyment. Furthermore, the fee you pay for covers one drink per customer (they say it’s a “free drink”) but can ONLY be claimed during the 25 mins you get inside the cafe. This restriction was not communicated, leading to confusion and frustration from our end - as most customers would spend their full 25 minutes taking photos, petting or cuddling the micro pigs. One of the employees kept insisting in a harsh voice that “time’s up” and that I can’t get a drink even though it’s just from a vending machine. Wasn’t entirely sure why they were so strict with this, but my friend somehow managed to get a drink before leaving and they VERY strictly insisted that we cannot take away the drink from the cafe, and insisted for us to pass the full cup of beverage back to her. Another point that doesn’t make sense as I don’t see why taking away a drink would do any harm. Although the micro pigs themselves provided some solace with their adorable antics, the lackluster customer service overshadowed their charm. The strict adherence to unreasonable policies, coupled with the unfriendly demeanor of the staff, ruined my - what could have been an enjoyable experience. I’m assuming the high rating for this cafe is due to most customers wanting to get a 200¥ discount off the final bill (which was not cheap for a 25 minute session), but I would recommend OttersFamily Otter Petting, just a few minutes from this cafe, which offers a more welcoming environment, clear guidelines, and friendly staff. Despite it being a 30-minute session, the overall experience was far superior, making it a preferable choice for tourists or customers seeking a memorable experience.

Visiting Mipig in Japan was such a heartwarming and unforgettable experience! Whether you’re a local looking for a unique weekend activity or a traveler searching for something charming and distinctly Japanese, Mipig delivers joy in the most adorable way possible. The moment we stepped in, we were welcomed by the soft snorts and gentle nudges of the cutest miniature piglets you’ll ever meet. The space is clean, calm, and thoughtfully designed to make both pigs and people feel comfortable. My daughter was instantly in love she sat on the cozy floor cushions and within minutes had two tiny piglets snuggled up in her lap. It’s an amazing, hands-on way for kids to learn about animals in a gentle and respectful environment. Adults, don’t be shy this place is therapeutic! There’s something surprisingly relaxing about watching pigs wander freely around a beautifully minimal Japanese-style room. The staff is incredibly friendly, informative, and attentive, always making sure both guests and the animals are well cared for. Mipig is more than a café it’s a wholesome, interactive memory waiting to happen. Whether you’re sipping on a latte with a piglet by your side or snapping photos of your child giggling with her new four-legged friend, this is an experience you’ll want to relive again and again. Highly recommend for families, animal lovers, and anyone in need of some lighthearted joy. Mipig is a must-visit spot in Japan!
