Mister Donut - Ikebukuro West Entrance Shop — Restaurant in Tokyo

Was looking for something sweet to eat while walking back to our stay and saw this two story Mister Donut shop in Ikebukuro. Upstairs has more seats. Place was kept clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Donuts were not bad and cakey which I like more than all sugar glazed.

Ordered the stuff filled custard cream and Angel cream but I liked the Angel cream the best since it was light taste. Tried both the strawberry mochi and regular donut. I liked both. We also had the honey glazed and chocolate and both were pretty good as well. Great place to chill and chat with a friend. Prices were not bad for our pick of 8 donuts which cost less than $8. Pokémon donuts on sale from November 06 2024!! Every year in November, Mister donut launches Pokémon themed donuts! And I’m here at the right time of the year! This year, their special Pokémon is digglet. It stick out from a regular donut. It’s super cute. Donuts are really tasty too. They’re not too sweet and has a nice bite. The digglet is also a donut with chocolate coating and stuffed cream. Pikachu is a coloured coated chocolate with cream stuffed inside. If you buy a few, they place it inside a Pokémon donut box. The donuts were ok but when we sat down a woman came saying she had the table reserved to merge with a table next to it. She did not, the table did not have the reservation paper on it when we sat down. She then got staff to come and make us move. The cafe was half empty. She ate alone at the 2 tables.
