I'll be honest; I only tried this burger chain whilst in Japan because I saw Chris Broad's very amusing review claiming it to be Japan's worst burger chain. I thought it didn't look that bad tbh.
A large widescreen style poster on the back wall had a quote on it claiming it to be "Japan's best burger", it was probably a quote from Mr. Mos because, spoiler alert.... It's not.
It was terrible. I ordered the standard burger with fries and an iced coffee. The burger, whilst most and having some good colour to it tasted of almost nothing. The only thing adding to the flavour was the sweet brown sauce that had been poured all over the pattie. Not bad but not enough to save the burger. A few (and I mean a few) very thin strips of onion we're thrown in there too but they were worthless. The bread was super fresh which nice.
The fries were ever so slightly under cooked and only noticeable on the larger ones tbh. Sadly barely any salt was on the chips, so make of that what you will but for me it meant they were pretty tasteless.
Iced coffee was a decent serving so if you like iced coffee you will probably like this.
Place was very clean and staff...

How MOS Burger Got It's Name? MOS stands for Mountain, Ocean, and Sun. It means “standing tall and firm like a Mountain, having a heart that is broad and deep as Ocean, and having passion like the Sun that never burns out.” That is our founder's never-ending love for human beings and nature.
This popular chain can be found all across the country! Unique items include a rice burger with yakiniku beef inside and a red bean soup with mochi!
It’s affordable. Good quality. Friendly service. I wish Canada had a location. This Canadian fell in love with your brand 🥰
Thank you MOS Burger! 🙏 Much love...
Read moreJust to reiterate from the review I did for Mos Burger in Ikebukuro, this one also has the plant-based, vegan burger available. I tried the second one offered, which is a substitute of the fish patty.
This one was also great and comes with its own sauce, also fully suitable as it contains mainly vegetable-based ingredients (other allergens are to be checked if one has any special selective allergy).
Staff is as polite as the other location and will keep the place spotless along bringing you the meal. I sat on the second floor enjoying a calmer view of Akihabara and talking with an old friend.
Also really appreciate that the staff summarizes the order indicating it again to ensure everything is understood correctly if you’re foreigner. Recommend the plant-based for both vegans and...
