Nakayama Tofu Shop — Restaurant in Tokyo

Like another review said, we met a rude and horrible male waiter who gave us SUCH a disgusting attitude ! I am having dinner with my mom (we ordered two items) later on my dad came in, without a word the waiter took our ticket pointed to it aggressively and snatch the menu waving it to my dad’s face indicating we had to order a third item. Made my dad get out of the restaurant if he didnt order. If there was such a rule it should’ve been said nicely or at least shown in the restaurant but there was no such sign ! Such a horrible experience that ruined our Japan trip !! From the looks of all the 1 star reviews it’s the SAME RUDE GUY ! Please do your restaurant a favor...

This is a very rude and barbaric restaurant. The waiter's attitude is very bad! I ordered a dinner by myself in the evening. When I was almost finished, my husband came to me. The waiter saw my husband sitting down, handed him a glass of water, and then asked my husband to order. My husband said that my wife was almost done eating and we were ready to leave, so we didn't order. The waiter immediately took away the glass of water, his face became very angry, and he said to my husband in a very angry tone: If you don't order, you have to leave immediately! Small no frills Korean restaurant with an open kitchen where you can watch your food being cooked. There are several seats around the counter for individuals and a few seats for small groups. Although the place was very busy in the evening (they stay open till 23:00), there was a continuous flow of people entering and leaving. The options are limited and there is only 1 dish that doesn’t have pork. The ambiance is fast paced and loud so may not be the best for socializing or hanging out. No reservation required. Overall A great value for money and delicious!
