Bushōya Iekei Ramen — Restaurant in Tokyo

Pretty easy as a foreigner. I used Google Translate on the vending machine to order and got in line. The employee will come out and ask you some questions about how you want it prepared (using a page with English translations you can point to), and then they will collect your ticket. When you get to the front of the line the employee will tell you which seat to sit in, and that's all you need to do, the food will be served in front of you. The only thing they could improve on if they want to be more welcoming to foreigners is to include English translations on the ticket vending...

There's always a queue whenever I walked past this shop so decided to pop in when I noticed there were available seats. This shop caters mainly to locals as there is no english menu. Despite the language barrier, the service was friendly. The ramen, though, is so-so to my palate. Wouldn't mind it if I wanted something hot and filling but I wouldn't queue for it. As mentioned by others, they provide a free bowl of rice if you want it and there are pickles and various other seasonings on...

Stumbled upon this authentic ramen shop whilst looking for dinner, absolutely packed most of the time but worth the wait (10-15min at most)

Ramen noodles cooked to your liking, (firm, normal, soft) and soup thickness and fat is chosen based on your preference (would recommend getting all normal if it's your first time trying)

Might look rushed inside but enjoy the food at your own pace!
