To begin, the pervasive odor of a lavatory throughout the establishment raises concerns that precede any question of routine cleaning or maintenance. It speaks to a fundamental lapse in the standards expected of any purveyor of foodstuffs. At a time when rice prices are notably high, the offer of complimentary refills is a commendable gesture. Regrettably, the preparation of said rice—the cooking and steaming—did not seem to have received the time and attention it merited, even during the busy lunchtime rush.
