Beautiful nostalgia inducing little café in a calm residential neighbourhood of Tokyo. Rec coffee took over an old café but only minimally changed the original look and atmosphere to keep the beauty of this place.
The service was really gentle and nice and even with many people queuing to get a spot inside remained calm.
The food items we ordered were on point: an old school flan pudding and a pear tart- both perfect and go really well with the coffee beverages we ordered.
The coffee itself was just as good as expected and looking at the amount of people waiting outside after us I fully understand. Yes, this is not a nice place to chill and read a book anymore kind of café… but honestly- good places like these deserve...

Pudding is certainly worth trying. Though it’s very similar to Nishiya but perhaps not as good.
This place is 10-15 mins walk from Shibuya crossing and away from the shibuya crowd which is pretty good thing. The atmosphere inside is not very extraordinary but decent enough. Staff was super nice guys. They didn’t speak in English with me but were kind enough to guide me.
