My partner and I ended up visiting this restaurant two nights in a row when we were in Tokyo last week. They have a new menu every day based on what they got from the market that day. The fish is fresh and delicious, and everything is beautifully and thoughtfully prepared by their chef. The owners were so sweet and welcoming and very patient with my rudimentary Japanese. There’s no English menu, but we got pretty far with Google translate, and the owners were super helpful with making menu selections and pointing out what was especially good that day. We’ll definitely be back next time...

The staff was very hospitable to us as foreigners. There were no English menus, but the servers made every effort to make things easy for us and went the extra mile, they were so accommodating and kind! I would still keep your translator app handy to make things easier on the staff.
