Friendly hotel with good service and nice public bath
We stayed in the Hollywood Twin Room with Breakfast for 3 nights, and it's already listed in our "one of the best hotels in Tokyo". The location is superb, underground street is just around the corner within 1 min walk, we walked under the rain for just this short distance, the Marunouchi (Tokyo Station underground street) and the Yaechika (Yaesu underground street) is already connected, even can go directly to Daimaru the shopping mall without going on the ground. We are more than happy to discover these routes in such hot summer. Although not much convenience stores around the hotel on the ground, but there are plenty shops in the underground streets, we have stayed almost whole day there because of typhoon, while most shops closed, yet there are about half shops still opened.
The staff are extremely kind and helpful. They always put on great smiles and very friendly to our requests. They offer some cute snacks at the check-in counter if you have brought your own toothbrush and return their provided ones, this is a nice treat for kids. We love the welcome drinks time and breakfast. Both are well considered with good choices of drinks, snacks and foods. Due to the typhoon, our flight has been delayed for one whole day, we went to the counter and seek for immediate assistance to reserve one more night for the same 2 rooms, and the staff have served us professionally and offered us a slightly higher rate than our previous price, which is totally reasonable since it’s a last-minute request.
The room is not big but reasonable. It states the availability for four person, the two beds are just enough for 4, but there won’t be spaces for suitcases. We hardly can open two large suitcases with limited space to walk. But to be fair, the location is just next to Tokyo Station, and rooms in Tokyo is small in common knowledge. There is one tiny round table, one standard table and one retractable table under the TV, for a family of 3, the space is just enough. The TV main page shows the crowdedness of check-in counter, male & female public bath, super thoughtful information indeed. The bed is good, we can even choose different forms of pillow, which is very considerable. The bathroom with toilet is considerately small, the bathtub could only allow small kids to relax their legs, but they have the famous public bath, the benefit is we do not need to wait in line for bathing in one single room.
Speaking of the public bath, we highly recommend all guests to visit it during your stay! Firstly, very considerable for female guests as they have separate floors for male & female, and even provide a set of password especially for female bath room. The public bath size is suitable for maximum 6-9 person for cozy sit-down-area. The bathing cubicles are clean, provided with shower gel, shampoo, hair conditioner, even face wash, you just need to bring along the towels from your room. Water is hot enough. The changing area is clean and lockers are well-organized.
One thing we are a little disappointed (just tiny little) is that, we usually will go for hot bath after a long day walk, normally around 10pm, but the welcome drinks and ice-cream are finished by 9pm, if it would extend for longer period, or separate it into two sessions (e.g. 4-7pm / 9-10:30pm), it would be perfect for some drinks/ice-creams after hot bath. But this is totally our opinions.
All in all, we love this hotel and will surely come back...

Good: Hotel location is excellent, it's near Tokyo Station, accessible through Daimaru shopping mall and Nihombashi station not too far away. They are from different train lines so you can fit to your needs if you know where you are going as Tokyo train system can be confusing. The shopping mall itself can be a bit confusing but there are maps to help you navigate to know which exit is the best, unfortunately there is no lift access for this exit (I can't remember the number now) so we had to take the stair while dragging out suitcase but the hotel is out there a short distance away. There are food and amenities nearby and inside the mall too. We roamed around to get nice ramens at night but didn't write it down. Don't count on your memory, folks.
Everything is functional. There is a laundry room, very affordable. If I remember correctly, you only need a few hundred yens or less to get your laundry done and dried. There are detergent provided. It's really helpful if you have longer trip or if you don't want to be burdened by stack of dirty clothes after the trip. The room is compact and small but has everything we need.
You can choose your pillow. Near the reception, there is a pillow room where you can pick the type of pillow that you like. I love this, seems simple but a very nice gesture, sleeping well is important!
There are range of care products in the same area. Body lotion, face cream, hair cream, and the products are nice too.
A robot dog! But not very interactive and not always there. Will love it if it is a real dog!
Happy hour in the afternoon for alcoholic drink
I love the fabric spray
Good water pressure. Important!
Hassle free less contact services. It's normal not to have daily housekeeping in Japan's hotel, which is fine for us as we don't need it daily. Fresh towel and kimono are given and hanged outside the room.
Can be improved: Size? I guess it goes with the price. Ha... Do be reminded that Japan's room size is much smaller than other countries. The bed for two is just a larger single size and that is common. The bathroom is also very compact and we made a lot of noises hitting everywhere but we got used to it eventually.
Hotel is clean, and we could roam around looking for coffee waiting for check in time after putting our luggage. Sorry for the mess of the room because I always forget to take picture before we...
Read moreFirst time staying at this hotel and booked it for 5 nights for our first half of the trip.Pros:Super clean hotel, location was about 7 mins walk from Tokyo station and you could you walk underground towards Tokyo Midtown Yaesu (office building) that would bring you to the hotel right above. Lots of eateries and convenience stores nearby. It’s called Super Hotel Lohas on the area map and not Super Hotel Premier. Staff were all friendly and rooms were cleaned daily - you just got to be out of the hotel between 11am to 3pm if you would like them to do the cleaning. There was also a hot spring for men and women on separate levels for use. Yukata was provided for everyone in the room. WiFi was very strong as well! Bed was comfy too! You would need to take your dental kits at the lobby if you need any. There is also a walk-in area for mini pillow selection should you need extra pillows.Cons:We knew the room we booked (Run of House room) was going to be small but it was smaller than expected. We are a couple traveling and there was barely space for 2 medium sized luggage. We had to place 1 luggage on the given chair to make space. The toilet did not come with a trash bin either so all trash had to be discarded at the main bin in the room beside the bed which can be quite unhygienic for most occupants. The toilet was also super small, probably because of the room size. Only one long pillow was provided and it was hard - probably a Japanese type of pillow so we took softer ones from the lobby. There was no wardrobe in the room, just a mini rack with 3 hangers so you will need to find random spaces to hang your clothes. Conclusion:This hotel would be ok for short stays but definitely not for stays more than 2 nights if I must say. We did not want to drag our luggage to change trains therefore this was the best price around Tokyo station. However those with families or young children may find this hotel challenging due to the small size. The other hotels in the area come with exorbitant prices due to the area itself therefore this was the best one! We had a good stay regardless and would recommend to friends and families who are intending to travel...
