This is such a cute wine bar / restaurant, perfect for dropping in for a glass of wine as we did or a full meal.

The entrance makes it seem like it is just a cellar but as you walk in, you will be greeted, they will offer to take your coat and then seat you inside the bar.

The bar staff were super helpful, spoke english and were able to talk us through the wines on offer.

They then asked what we liked and gave us plenty of local and European options. Both wines we chose were delicious.

They also noted we could buy any bottle in the cellar but there was a 2000 yen fee to drink it there. They did say it would be cheaper but if you are just having one glass each, it seems a bit excessive. Regardless they were not pushy about this but it would probably make sense if you love wine and are...

Granted I visited at an off peak hours at around 4pm, no customers I walked in and they said there's no menu but there's wine by the glass available, proceeded to bring out 5-6 bottles which had half to one glass left, ie probably from at least last night. Having read good things about it, I wanted to give it a try anyway so asked for a glass of the Riesling as the other bottles didn't sound interesting and were down to the last half glass. Asked for the price before and was told 1650 yen. It's not crazy expensive but did feel like it was overpriced for a no name producer, ie not keller, JJ prum etc etc. decided to just leave as place as empty and the staff/owner didn't...

One of the best and value for money wine bar / shop to take away bottles. Amazing how only 1 staff is cooking for the whole bar and after multiple times back here, the quality and taste did not change. Try to go early or after dinner crowd leaves tho!

Loved: Grilled Jap Veges Omelette with demi glace sauce Chicken and hijiki cream sauce Lamb Duck Beef...

Never had such a bad experience in my life. The glass of wine was served weighed on a scale. What the hell !!! It was the smallest glass of wine of my life. I though it was only for tasting. But no. That was my glass. For 1500¥. And don’t think it was a Romanée Conti. No noooo. Just a regular basic japan wine.
