THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE & COFFEE SHOP IN JAPAN EVER
DON’T COME TO HERE / YOU MUST REGRET FOR POOR SERVICE & MANNER WITH NOT CLEAN CONDITION.
We have been here with 4 friends together. There is no flexibility for choosing the seats even though there is alternative options.
Because of the owner(grandmother) doesn’t want to move table also this is very irritating things for her.
The Worst experience is that we ordered the 4 drinks with one piece of cake. We are full because of just after the lunch. Also don’t expected doggy cookies. It looks all time sold out. (Around 14:00PM on Saturday)
There is no instructions or requests from her about ordering system. She didn’t tell us how many cakes might be good to have for four ppl. Once cake has served from her. she gave us only 2 folk… even though, We are 4. I asked her to give us 2 more folk. She told us we ordered too small cake that’s why she gave us 2 folks. And she told us you guys have to order more cakes she thought.
This is ridiculous situation for ever in my life in Japan. She speaks english but not at all in a polite way. And ONLY TREAT NICE TO JAPANESE PEOPLE. I THOUGHT THAT THIS IS KIND OF RACISM.
Air conditioner looks at least more than decade. It looks for sure not good for your bronchial tubes….
She has to know this is really shameful for herself and gave us the worst memory in japan...
Read moreI think it’s time to share a secret. My to go cafe for lazy Sunday afternoons with good coffee and lots of cake.
It’s like a visit to your grandparents. I’m always welcomed in the most heart warming way and the owner always remembers my particular coffee order.
This cafe may be only an eight-minute walk from the Gaienmae subway station in Jingumae, but this retro hideaway is a world away from Shibuya’s bustling chaos.
There’s a mixed ambience where Americana with a touch of a French cafe feeling, meets in a classic old-school Japanese jazz coffee shop.
The ojichan behind the bar makes a solid cup of coffee, while the baba will serve you in seconds even when the place is packed.
There’s an English menu just in case your Japanese is not up to speed and decaf options.

Read moreThe older woman staff was very rude to us. We wanted to sit in the main area with better lighting but she forced us to sit in the dark corner.
We asked if we could change tables, but she said the available tables are only for 1 person. We asked why do they have 2 seats then? She said 1 seat is broken per table. I couldn’t believe it.
Finally, she said if we don’t like that seat we can leave. Or come back another day.
We left immediately of course.
Usually I dont like to post a bad review, but this time I...
