Pizza Borsa — Restaurant in Tokyo

We were searching for a genuine italian restaurant in Tokyo and we are very happy to tell you that we found it! The Pizza is really on italian standards if not even better ! We ate the Margherita Pizza. The dough was very thin which we loved, the toppings were spread generously too and the olive oil on the pizza was a little too much but tasted great as well. Usually you expect a small Pizza in Japan but this one was a standard size you would expect to have! Unfortunately the waiter did not speak english well but still the situation was handled well by the chief or cook. I have to thank for yesterday again, thank you so much for having us and still giving us a place to sit altough you were full with reservations! Also the price for a Margherita was 1000¥ which is realllly good !...

I visited this place for lunch with my kids during our trip to Tokyo. The pizza, said by an Italian, was pretty tasty, good looking, with nice smell and texture. Cooked on wood oven. Some might want a bigger size, but for me was perfect.

At lunch they offer different set menus which are extremely convenient in term of quality/price ratio. For around 1.200 yen (around 8 euro) we got a cold tea, a salad, a pizza, a small dessert and a coffee or te. There are also other lunch sets slightly more or less expensive.

The place inside is small (12/14 places) so you might need to wait a bit, but the service in our case was pretty quick, so we did not wait a lot. Staff is very friendly and speak a bit of English. They have also an English menu.

I arrived about 10 minutes before they opened for dinner and was able to be seated when they opened. Order for the evening was the chicken liver crustinis, the sausage and red onion pizza and a glass of coke. The crustinis were nice and crispy and the liver was smooth and had a nice bit of olive oil and salt on top and I thought it was quite delicious. The pizza dough had a nice bit of chew and char. The sausage wasnt as flavorful as I hoped though. It was still really good, regardless. The glass of coke I was served was filled with ice and only had a few actual sips of coke in it.
