Among many good reviews there were quite a few that were not so good. The main complain was about the service. What can I say, these people should learn to listen and to read. First of all, on the website it states clearly that the table charge is 300yen, which is BTW cheaper than in many other places (I would say a normal charge is 500 these days). And then, when at the restaurant, you get the menu and it says in English is well, that the charge will be 300yen + one drink/person + payment in cash only. Plus a waiter explains the same once again. So I really do not know how people missed this essential information. I made a reservation by directly going to the restaurant. I made it on Wednesday for the Friday of the same week. Also at the time of reserving a table, I was told about the rules. On Friday we arrived at 7pm and we're sitted at the best table. We chose our drinks. The drinks are a bit pricey but very good. Then we chose appetizers. For the appetizers the prices were normal, usual, not too expensive. After we finished our appetizers, they started to bake our pizzas, one by one, so it was super fresh. Along with the high quality ingredients the final result was absolutely amazing. The best pizza ever!!! Lite and refreshing yet filling but not stuffing. Seriously, I have no idea what they did to these pizzas, but it was remarkable. The prices for pizza are a bit higher than the average but not by much. And definitely worth it. BTW if you want to save some money, as good the appetizers are, you can skip them, as pizzas are big and one pizza per person is enough. I wish we had more room in our stomachs for a dessert (really wanted to try their tiramisu) but we decided that it will destroy our joy from the main course. In short, great experience in terms of food and service. One of the highlights in Tokyo dinning!

This pizza is on par with the New York pizza that I think is the best in the world (Manero’s of Mulberry). Different style but just as delicious. We’re going back for a second time, it is that delicious. The restaurant has two levels, we ate downstairs at the kitchen bar. Loved watching the pizza being made and having a little chat with the chef. You can see how much love and care he puts into each pizza. An amuse bouche of warm mushroom soup was brought out and we ordered gin and tonics (Tanqueray). We started with the burrata caprese, everything was so fresh, the basil and tomato paired perfectly with the cheese. We had the Romano and Diavola to share. You could taste each ingredient, just superb. And we took a margarita home with us, as we were full but we didn’t want to regret not having another. Service was prompt and friendly and very sweet that everyone wished us Merry Christmas (it was Christmas Day). We can’t wait to come back and have recommended it to everyone we have met since. Update: we went back for a second time. We had the salami and just as good as the other pizzas we had tried. Wonderful!

An overhyped pizza with horrible customer service and unnecessary fees. Unfortunately we found this place through social media with high hopes only to have a horrible night. Short explanation: Horrible customer service, very understaffed, pizza isn’t even that good like all these other reviews are claiming, WAY OVERPRICED, unnecessary fees. First the service: We arrived around 6:45 and there was no line, we said a table for 2 and he said it would be about a 30-40 minute wait, we said that was okay and he began to say oh come back in 30 minutes because there’s not a table ready, we said we were okay to come back but was there a list we could get put on and he said there wasn’t, we decided to wait there and he seemed bugged we decided to wait outside. It was as if he was trying to get us to leave in a way. He then in front of our faces began to let in 6 people from a list he pulled out. He then told us to wait a little longer even though there were 2 seats at the bar in front of us. We then understood that they are VERY understaffed. Which didn’t help as they took us back and he told us we could only order pizza and we only had 1 hour, which was fine we didn’t want to be there long after the kind of off putting service we were receiving. The waitress then opened up the menu for us and stared at us expecting us to have our order ready without even having had a chance to take a glance at it. After a brief glance we asked what was most popular and got that but it was very very rushed. The water: First they brought our waters which were bottled water, then we realized that they were probably charging us for it, after we found it on the Menu it was ¥700! After we asked for just 1 bottle instead of 2 she showed us the front of the menu which said each person had to order 1 drink. So we said screw it because it was the cheapest thing, after opening it, it was sparkling water, they gave us sparkling water, with pizza. We then said the seat fee per person of ¥380 yen on the front where it said each person had to order 1 drink. The food: The pizza came out and honestly it wasn’t anything crazy. The crust had some char to it, the toppings were tasted alright but my wife said she’d rather have dominoes and these were their 2 most popular pizzas. So that is why I gave it 2 stars because it was eatable but when dominoes is better than this, it’s not getting more than 2 stars. It was also like ¥5000 for these 2 pizzas that were like a S-M sized pizza. If you’re looking to get full from this you won’t because it’s not a very big pizza. It was also decently greasy. *If customer service turns you off and ruins your meal I would not recommend coming here. If you can bear the awful customer service and really want to taste this mid pizza, get it for take out to avoid those extra fees.* Again we spent a total of ¥7300 for mid pizza, sparkling water and awful customer service.

A two floor pizzeria with an actual wood fired oven. Unlike fast food chain pizzerias, pizzas here are made very quickly as the pizzas also burn very quickly. The burned portions in my attached photo demonstrate this fact. The pizzas are divided between cheese and tomato based. I ordered the salami which is cheese, olive oil, and salami. The crust is very flavorful despite having no tomato sauce. The burnt portions of the crust may turn off some - I've seen many customers leave them on their plate. As for the wine selection, in addition to the standard Italian fare of Chianti, etc. the owner is apparently a South African oenophile and the glass wine was a 2022 Warwick Estate First Lady Cabernet Sauvignon which is the favorite wine of one of my South African friends - this was a nostalgic and fantastic reunion with a wine. Despite being a full house, the staff were very attentive and noting that I was a solo diner, kind enough to chat with me between their tasks. (Thanks!) I went around 5:50 pm on a Sunday and it filled up very quickly. Reservations highly recommended.

This place is amazing and the Pizza is fantastic. But from the start. Be first of all prepared that only card payment is accepted so cash does not work. We took a seat at the counter, where you get a good view on the preparation process and started with a drink. There is a choice of cocktails for those that love it that way. After ordering our Pizzas we got a little mushroom soup served in a glas, that tasted fantastic. When you see the pizza preparation you can't wait to taste it. Made with a lot of passion and love and also some show for the audience. 50 seconds in the wood fired oven and then you get your piece of pleasure. So tasty and yummy, well baked through, with a pinch of salt underneath. The dough is what makes a Pizza and here it is probably the best I had in Tokyo so far. So 5 stars, even if I think it is a bit expensive there. But also is the pizza size bigger than in most Japanese places. A hidden gem close to Tokyo tower.

I don't want to review bomb or harsh out on them. Why? Cause these people are trying and the pizza is good. People in the restaurant industry try not to bomb other restaurants. Suggestions Don't get the hot appetizers. It detracts from what is really amazing here the pizza. The eggplant is good but the Parmesan twill tastes slightly old? Meatballs fat content and consistency was off. Maybe they needed to work it less cause the meatballs come off tough. Lasagna was good as well. Get the pizzas. Yes this may seem expensive because of the drinks and cover charge. But the tamaki pizzas is excellent probably top ten pizza of my life. Service and atmosphere is very cozy great for a small date. I would come here again and just order four pizzas lol. Get the mushroom soup! I like the mushroom and sausage pizza as well but the tamaki with it's simplicity and overall profile is better even a meat eater has to admit it.
