This place scammed me !

1. they brought out a different dish then I ordered and refused to accept it was not the right dish - I specifically asked for tofu then they gave me a soya meat and told me it was tofu !

2. after ordering and sitting for a few minutes- they came back to me and made me order a drink. No where was it said before or posted.

3. when I went to pay my bill was magically higher than the tally - they told me service charge, another few charges, this, that, etc. - then told me that it would be another ~ 250 yen to use a credit card. In the end they charged me 700 yen (including the credit card fee) over what my bill with the drink was supposed to be.

Highway robbery !

The lady that runs this restaurant is predatory for tourist.

Do not go here if you are a tourist and visiting!

Response: She claims she will make it more clear, but look at all the negative reviews she has, including how many times she has been called a thief. She has had plenty of opportunity to fix the way she does business - but refuses to.

Also it’s not just about being clear, it’s about being just a normal ! You brought out something I didn’t want; processed vegetarian meats don’t suit me, I have a medical condition, it is why I asked for Tofu !

You pushed pushed and pushed more fees and stuff on me I didn’t want it accept - well knowing it was wrong!

You can say what you want, but I wish I saw your reviews…. I’d have never...

Charges a sitting fee per person , but no signs in the restaurant to make you aware of this and they hide it in the paper menu , even though they only give you an electronic tablet at your table to order from. So no way of knowing about it.

At the table a sign shows you have to order a drink, they made that visible, but not the other charge. When you send your order you also see a total on the tablet which dosent include the table charge and that magically shows up at the end. Clearly the owner knows that they are doing and is trying very hard to hide the extra hidden fees scamming people. Also very little food for high prices as it is.

Would not recommend, do not go here.

Re owners comment: it is not visible on the table or tablet screen ( atleast not In English). The table has a note in English that says you need to order 1 drink per person, why not say anything about the sitting fee on this same English note. They have made the same comment about making it more transparent to other negative reviews in the past , but clearly have done nothing to do so. Again I urge people not to go here ...

This is a restaurant that participates in otoshi. For this reason, take your business elsewhere.

Overall the quality of the food was okay. And the fact they have a fairly diverse vegan menu was commendable. What I genuinely dislike is bulking up the bill with mandatory extras. See the attached photo. A mandatory 300 yen appetizer of what I believe is pickled cucumber. And then you're required to order a drink. Expect the least expensive to be...
