I’m currently still here but I couldn’t wait writing a review. I fell in love with this place in an instant. I came with one of my friends from visiting from America and wanted to try a quiet quaint coffee shop not the regular cafes you typically see. I ordered the recommended pasta which is a tomato cream topped with a salad and choice of dressing (the basil dressing is recommended and I stand by that) the combination of crunch and flavor of the pasta was an incredible mix. My friend ordered the Genovese basil (please excuse my spelling I’m trying to remember off the top of our heads) it was rich and cream you can definitely taste the fresh basil which the master hand picked in front of us. The food came out then our drinks I love that we got to taste the food before our tastebuds got mixed with the drinks and it’s different from typical coffee shops. My friend ordered the iced panna chocola the coffee flavor is strong but fresh it isn’t too sweet and you can adjust the sweetness to your liking it came with sweet cream foam on top and once mixed it was creamy and thick the sweetness of the foam and the bitter chocolate balanced each other beautifully. I myself order the hot panna cocoa I love coffee and this hit the spot it was like drinking tiramisu and the presentation was beautiful. My friend I could lick our plates and cups that’s how delicious everything was. This coffee shop/cafe has limited seating so only sits 1-2 people at a time but I think that’s what makes this place special. You can also smoke in here which is also nice. It’s a great place to chill and spend time with a friend. It’s quiet and you can hear quiet jazz music in the back so please be respectful if you come. It has such an old charm and I hope if you come visit here you’ll love just as much as I’ve fallen in love with this place. This place feels like home and I hope it stays in business for a...
Read moreI ordered a latte and a chocolo cheesecake. The coffee was served hot and despite being a latte, I could still taste the coffee. The cheesecake was one of the best ones I've ever had. The place is small and they don't recieve groups of more than 3 people. Cash pay. People smoke inside so if you don't mind the smoke it's fine. Very cozy and calm. I liked how the owner was piling the dishes from the day to wash later, I thought made the place...
Read moreDistinctly mixed signals, so this is another quasi-review so I'll know not to go back. The Google Maps search was "coffee" and the description sounded like it would be fine to get a cup. There was a sign that said it was open, and a nice looking menu. But as I went down the stairs there was all these weird warnings and restrictions, and at the bottom a sign that said it was full. Maybe something about being in a tough...
