Fairly well-known yakiniku chain in Tokyo that also has shabu shabu in 2 of their locations (Ebisu/Daikanyama & Omotesando).
We made a reservation for lunch at their Daikanyama location and they offered us a private room as the open area was fully booked. Our first time to Kintan and we came away very impressed.
Extremely friendly and attentive staff, food quality was excellent for the price (their lunch menu seems to be really good value) and free rice, vegetable and side dish refills. Our total cost came out at about 6,000 yen with drinks, including ordering a plate of wagyu.

Unfortunately, this staff didn't learn that lesson. Maybe they should be forgiven because it's a kind of course meal but, they literally interrupted my conversation with my friend 7 times and effectively ruined our evening. Each time, by the time they were done interrupting our conversation was effectively entirely distrupted.

You can not control the heat with char-grilled Yakiniku. I went for the lunch, you can eat salad, soup and rice as much as you like.
