Shanghai Tangbao Shokan Nishi Ginza Shop — Restaurant in Tokyo

I would give this restaurant a zero for customer service if I could! R. Dakoda, an older Asian lady, provided extremely horrible service. She was rude to my family and showed no patience when confirming our orders. We were left confused when R. Dakoda yelled, “NO!” at my mom when we asked for a bigger table for four people. We understand why we can’t have a larger table, but there was no need for her to yell at my mom! On a positive note, the other waitresses were really nice and always smiled. Ultimately, R. Came for a late lunch on a Sunday at 1330 and the shop was quite busy. Till we left at 1430 it had a steady flow of customers coming in. Ordered the colorful dumpling set for 1980 yen which included soup, dessert and a half fried rice as well as fried rice set 1380 yen which had soup and 3 dumplings. All were ok, not bad nor amazing. Fried was decent. Service was ok and came out quick for us, but the table beside us seemed to be quite upset because it took a while for the food to come... Guess we were lucky or...

We struggled to find somewhere to eat in Ginza although we came at nearly 2pm on a Saturday. We chose this place because of no wait possibility. The service was okay. They were put to the test by Chinese guests that were trying to order in their preferred way vs folllowing the lunch set offerings. The food came out when ready so we had dim sum set arriving faster than other meal set. Quality was okay. Tan tan men was pretty tasty. Dessert...
