Ginza Coffee - Ginza Sukiyabashi — Restaurant in Tokyo

It might not be a chain, but it felt like other somewhat upper mid range cafe chains in Tokyo, if you get what I mean. I came in at 9pm on a Thursday night and no wait.

I got a green smoothie (consisting of spinach, banana, milk), a panna cotta parfait, and a hot soy latte. My companion got a chiffon cake. To be honest, all the food and drinks were just fair -- nothing too outstanding. Again, this cafe served its purpose as a reliable spot for a friendly girls meetup or an easy date, but nothing crazy. It was alright but not a must-visit.

Interior was quite Western with a pleasant ambience. Service was quick and attentive. Closing hour at 11pm is a little later than other cafes in the area so that is a plus.

Interestingly, there is a sign on the table that says no networking or sales-related discussions are allowed and the restaurant will kick you out if they see you doing that. I wonder if this means to simply dissuade random salespeople or cult people from approaching you, or that means you can't have a work-related meeting with another party here altogether. My first time seeing...

The male waiter and girl waiter with short hair w/chunky highlights kept staring at us intensely, and whispering at us after we ordered in English as we couldn’t understand them. It was an uncomfortable atmosphere and rude to do as an employee. The food was ok because the omelet is unseasoned, thin as paper, and little to no sauce covering the size of the portion. I would not recommend coming to this place to dine if you are a visitor to Japan, and overpriced...
