Had an amazing meal at Okurindo, just a 15-minute walk from Tokyo Tower! I ordered the Chestnut Ramen while my friend had the Pacific Saury Ramen, and both were incredible. Ordering through a ticket vending machine added that fun, authentic Tokyo touch right from the start.

The Chestnut Ramen was rich and nutty with a smooth, comforting broth that felt both unique and familiar. It had just the right balance of sweetness and depth, pairing perfectly with the springy noodles and tender toppings. My friend’s Pacific Saury Ramen had a beautifully clean fish-based broth with a gentle smokiness that made each sip deeply flavorful without being heavy.

This chuka-soba restaurant "Okurindo" presents a ramen dish with uniquely distinct broths. I ordered the mackerel set, and while you don't get a piece of grilled mackerel, you can taste the grilled fish infused into the ramen broth itself. The broth's mouthfeel and expanse of flavorful richness is beyond description! Together with the noodles, nori, and well-flavored pork belly, each bite was an experience.

The set meal comes with rice and various side dishes, including onion, pickles, and grilled vegetables.

Ordering is via a vending machine, and you present the ticket to the staff behind the seating counter. Seating is mostly only at the counter, and there were probably ~15 seats total.

Only my recommendation is you should research about their menu first before going to the restaurant because you will want to eat everything on the menu 🤣

They have many types of soup base so you can select based on the ingredients that you love. I ordered mackerel and my friend ordered salmon. Both are mind blowing, rich and flavorful✨ PS. They also have spicy option and pls be careful it’s quite spicy.
