Tiny café situated in a akihabara backstreet. It's entrance is super pretty and the feeling of the inside is fantastic. It has the old rustic and higher class look while calm piano instrumentals play on the speakers.
The staff is kind and they have an English menu for us foreigners, though it did seem popular when I arrived so a wait may be necessary. Seems like the whole shop is managed by a single cook and a single server so please be respectful and kind.

I am not much of a coffee drinker, but even I liked the blend they had. It is a mild taste one that I enjoyed quite a bit. The sandwiches were, while standard Japanese egg sandwich fare, quite good. Good ingredients and good egg salad.

If I lived in Tokyo I think I would be at this cafe everyday. I cannot express the calm, relaxing feeling the atmosphere of this cafe provides. The waitress and bartender are two of the kindest people I've met in Japan. Your breakfast is this perfect, calm meditation. Google needs to allow more than 5 stars for atmosphere.
As for the food and drink, the blended mild coffee was genuinely one of the best coffees I've had in Tokyo. The apple pie was delicious and my wife loved the cheesecake. Ham and cheese was simple and tasty as well. They also serve these cute little apple juices with your meal. Also, their dinnerware (china) is all so unique and fun to look at. The whole vibe of this place is simply amazing. Love this...
Read moreThe black coffee at Takayama Coffee was amazing. Brewed to perfection, it offered a rich, dark roasted full-bodied flavor with enjoyable bitterness. The aroma was intoxicating, and each sip delivered a smooth yet robust thick multiple sensations. It’s evident that the baristas here took immense pride in his craft, carefully selecting and roasting the beans to bring out the best characteristics of the coffee. The signature cinnamon toast, a simple yet delightful treat, complemented the black coffee wonderfully. Thick slices of fresh, lightly toasted bread were generously sprinkled with a mix of cinnamon and sugar, creating a perfect balance of sweetness and spice. Together with the black coffee, it created a harmonious pairing that elevated the overall...
