Dont come to this restaurant, so bad at service and can’t talk nicely with customers, they think they still in india or something like that but this restaurant located in japan and u bring ur culture and ur behavior in japan? What a weird behavior they have, always said “im busy right now, dont waste my time” and we just want to order something and asking some question if this thing has this this and this or not and his answer “dont waste my time, im busy right now” what a answer he gave to us, and the glass they served is little disgusting, and we realized that this glass did not wash with dish soup, and the time to wait the dishes is toooo longgg like almost 2 hour to get our foods, and the funny part is in the menu there is a some dish writen in there, like fried rice, and we ask for the fried rice and they gave a stupid answer like “we dont have this, dont waste my time, please sir” always said the same thing like we always waste his time, find more waiter or worker if u dont want ur time being wasted by customer, plus if there’s dishes out of service at that time, put the mark on your menu, PUT THE MARKK ON YOUR MENU SO WE KNOW THAT DISH IS OUT OFF SERVICEEEE!!!!! dont just get angrier with us though we just ask nicely like “is there a chicken in this?” And u just replied with high voice like u want to get fight with us,and we dont have nothing to do with ur angrier, dont work if u feel strees or can’t handle customer nicely and i reminder again, dont bring ur behavior or ur culture service from ur country to japan, or if u want to make a restaurant like karen’s dinner, please make it fyp or viral, so we know that ur service is bad and u guys are karen and we dont have to go again to ur restaurant, except those who like...
Read moreI recently made my another trip to Tokyo and, as always, had to check out Shinjuku. This time, I went to Tamanna Biryani for dinner with some of my Nepali and Japanese friends. As a vegan, I’ve often found it tricky to find plant-based options in Japan, but this Indian spot made it super easy and enjoyable! They’ve got some amazing vegan dishes on the menu, like Vegan Biryani, Vegan Pakora, and Vegan Naan (without any egg or butter), and honestly, everything was so tasty! My friends also tried the chicken kebab, and we were all impressed by how good everything was.
What really made the experience even better was the owner, who’s from India, personally checking in on us. It’s little touches like that that really make a difference. The location is great, and the food and portions were top-notch. The service was also on point—definitely the best I’ve had at an Indian restaurant in Tokyo.
If you’re after some delicious, authentic Indian food with fantastic service, this is the place to go. I’ll be back for sure, and I highly...
Read moreThe staff that met us was very unfriendly. He did not know english (maybe not even Japanese?), did not know what was in the dishes and did not want to help us. We just asked for vegan options (because we heard they had options) on the menu but he just repeated vegetarian. We tried with both Google translate and I showed him the vegan passport with good explaination in Japanese but he didn’t want to read and basically started to intresse his Voice, be very rude and aggressive towards us saying they only have what’s on the menu, even though we just tried to ask him what was inside the dishes on the menu and didnt cointain milk (as it was just the names of the dish). They probably do have vegan options though, as all indian restaurants I visited do, but he did not have any intention of helping us out. Never met such a rude person ever in Japan. Even though most places don’t have any or few options they are always polite. Do not recommend just because of his...
