The best Indian Restaurant that I ever taste. The flavor is just perfect on my taste. Neither too strong nor too plain. They have bento menu which not spicy and suitable for kids with enough portion. We tried bento with chicken butter for my child, dried curry (really recommend) and half&half chicken. All taste is perfect. The staff is really nice and kids friendly, we also got ice cha and hot cha while waiting for our take a way food. And also got free desert inside our take a way. And the most important thing is the food is all HALAL 👏❤️ This restaurant is located near Shinjuku central park, so it's perfect to order after your family play at park. Very recommend 👍

On the 27th of May, 2024, I made a special trip from Shinagawa to Potohar restaurant in Shinjuku, as I was in search of halal dining options. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon placing my order, I observed concerning hygiene practices by the staff. One individual, Maqseed, was seen handling food after putting his fingers in his mouth, without any subsequent hand washing or glove use. Similarly, another staff member, Akhtar, was noted to taste spices with his fingers and then continue food preparation without cleansing his hands. The restaurant’s space is quite compact, with the kitchen and dining area sharing the same room, which resulted in a smoky and uncomfortable environment. I ordered the mutton karahi, which, to my disappointment, tasted subpar and seemed to have undercooked ingredients. Regrettably, the culmination of my visit was an evening marred by food poisoning, complete with a severe headache and stomach distress. This experience has left me concerned not only for my own health but also for the well-being of future patrons.

It has been serving Indian cuisine at a location facing Koshu Kaido for quite some time. The master has the special ability to memorize the faces of customers who have visited the store. Saturday is Biryani day. As soon as I entered the restaurant, I was offered biryani. There's no need to turn down the temptation of biryani. Because it's delicious. Biryani is probably prepared in advance, stir-fried in a frying pan like fried rice, and served in the blink of an eye. The taste is outstanding, and although the portion is large, you won't be able to stop eating it with a spoon. Halal version of vegetable biryani is also available.
