This restaurant is specialized in "monjayaki", which looks a bit like an omelette but is made with cabbage, cod roe and cream. The waiter prepares it on a hot stone on the table in front of you. It's eaten with tiny spatulas. We really liked it, but I'm not sure everyone will. It's one of the weirder things of Japanese cuisine. Our other main dish was whitebait and vegetables, cooked in olive oil and garlic ("al ajillo"), and eaten on white bread. They're absolutely delicious. The edamame beans we had as an appetizer were also very good. They're roasted on the hot plate with butter and black pepper. There's no English menu. We used a combination of Google Lens and following the waiter's recommendation. The restaurant closes at 11PM. Last order is at 10PM.

I visited without knowing that it was a place that sells Monjayaki. I didn't know what Monjayaki was in the first place. But the taste of the first food I tasted was really great. I could see myself ordering draft beer. And what was more special was the hospitality of the staff. The staff to service our, is so kind, bright and cute! He gave our great meals and memories. Hozuki さん(Mr.Hozuki)! I hope you are always healthy and study hard to become a better person! I will be hoping from Korea kk. Im taking great memories during the trip. Thank you so much! (And thank you to Big brother who liked Samgyopsal, Soju, and Sundae. Be happy!)

Though there was a language barrier, they avoided us (and all other foreigners) like the plague. We were told foreigners were to order with a QR code but they never gave it to us until we asked for it after waiting for 10 minutes unserved. We waited for 45 minutes before a servant came over to cook our meal. They ignored us when we called. Our jasmine tea took 10 minutes to serve. Before the bill came, they were already rushing us out cleaning the table. There were no napkins provided. The toilet sink was broken. There was surcharge per head of 458 yen. Not worth it. Ignore the high rating! It's really not worth the hype. Go somewhere else for monjayaki, PLEASE

1年前に1度、2回目は今年になってから来店し、2回とも店のオペレーションがゴミでした。 もう二度と行きません。 〇〇くんに、〇〇ちゃんに焼いてもらったーとか書いてる口コミが散見されますが、サクラなんですかね？ 2度目の来店当日も、横の席で明らかに店員の友人らしき人達と店員が談笑しながら食べてるのにこちらの注文や会計の対応は遅く大変不快でした。 定期的に友人を呼んでサクラ口コミ書かせてるのでは？と疑ってしまいます。 ヘラヘラ笑ってる暇あるなら早くドリンクも料理も出せよ！と終始思ってました。 【1度目(昨年)】ランチ、2名 入店後すぐ ドリンク2杯、もんじゃ2枚を注文 ↓ 入店後30分 何も来ない。 真夏で暑いしせめてお冷をくれと頼む ↓ 入店後40分 ドリンクもお冷も届かないまま 催促する もうもんじゃくらい自分で焼けるから早く持ってこいと伝える ↓ 入店後50分 ドリンクもお冷も来ないまま、もんじゃ2枚分の丼が届く ドリンクを催促 もう自分で焼き始める ↓ 入店後60分 1杯目のドリンクが届く お冷は忘れられていたので催促 【2度目(今年)】2名、ディナー 外に小一時間並ぶ 並んでいる際、自分たちの1組後ろの外国人の方々が、名前を台帳に書くシステムが分からないまま並んでいたため、英語で声をかけて説明してあげた ↓ 入店直後 私達「〇〇(サイドメニュー)は火が通ってますか？すぐに出てくるものを知りたいです」 店員「あー…わからないです。」 ↓ その後数人タライ回しにされる ↓ キッチンの店員が大声でキッチンから投げやりに一言「これ火通ってます」 入店5分 ドリンク2杯 明太もちもんじゃ＋チーズトッピング イカスミもんじゃ を注文 ↓ 入店20分後 「お通しです！お焼きするのでお待ちください」 とオムレツ液が運ばれてくる 店員はどっか行ったまま帰ってこず、オムレツの液を眺めながら待つ ↓ 入店後40分 一向に焼かれないオムレツ、熱くなる鉄板に耐えかね、通りすがりの店員に 「オムレツくらい自分で焼けるんでもう焼いていいですか？ずっと待ってるんですけど」 と言うと、 店員「こちらでお焼きするので焼かずにお待ちください」 ↓ 入店後45分 ドリンク2杯届く、オムレツが焼かれる ↓ もんじゃ二枚分届く 店員離すとまた待たされると思い、オムレツをすぐに皿に取り、2枚ともそのままもんじゃ焼かせる ↓ 下記の写真。 チーズトッピングを忘れられていた ↓ あとから気づいて指摘、 店員「削除しておきます」とのこと ↓ しかし会計時に確認すると下記のレシートのようにチーズトッピングのお金加算されたまま。ありえない。 直ぐに確認したところ、消し忘れてましたと。 実際に払ったのはここからチーズトッピング引いたもの。 入店後1.5h 3枚目のもんじゃ(丼)を注文 店員「丼ですね！」 と確認されたのでそうですと答える ↓ 入店後2h ラストオーダーを聞かれる まだ来てないもんじゃがあると伝える ↓ その5分後 頼んだもんじゃの茶碗(サイズ間違い)が届く 指摘するも我々が間違ってるのでは？みたいな態度を取られ、イライラを押えながら確認と差し替えを頼む。 ↓ 入店2.5h後 まだもんじゃも焼けたばかりでほぼ残っている状態 伝票も貰ってない状態で 店員「お先にお会計をお願いします！」 我々「いや伝票もまだ見てないんですけど」 店員「え、伝票まだですか？！取ってきます」 ↓ 伝票確認すると下の写真。間違えているところがあり指摘し、怒りを押えながら支払う ↓ その後も食べ終わるまで10分ごとくらいに 店員「そろそろ閉店のお時間ですので退店をー、、、」 を言いに来る しかし、私たちの隣のテーブルでは、おそらく店員の友達が元店員か知らないが、店員と談笑しながら食事を続けている 大変気分が悪い ろくに注文も出せないのに退店催促と金巻き上げるのだけ早い。挙句間違ってて食べても無いものを払わされる ちなみに、最初に見かけた外国人2名、もんじゃの頼み方も分からないまま炒め物みたいなのだけ食べてすぐ退店してました。 きちんと説明してあげられる店員がいたら違っただろうに。 私たちは日本語がわかるから良いが、外国人観光客にはきちんと間違いなく過不足の無い注文を出し、お会計しているんだろうか？甚だ疑問。 こんなお店他に見た事がない。 月島で店員が焼いてくれる店に色々行ったことがあるが、こんなに待たされたことは無いし、間違われたことも不快な対応をされたこともない。 この店が悪い。

Food was delicious! Tried their specialty - monjayaki - which they can cook for you. Though, you have to ask them to do so, as the staff are, most of the time, busy. The place can be jampacked during peak hours so you’ll have to wait in line. Just write your name on the waiting list and the staff will call you when it’s your turn. They charge a table fee and, as usual, they guve you something in return. In my case, they gave 2 pcs of octupus legs to grill :) If you cannot read or do not speak Japanese, you can ask for their english menu. I definitely recommend this place! :)

Arrived early for lunch and there is not much guests yet. Food is served soon after placing the order via the online app. The staff will help to cook the monjayaki after which you can dig in directly while the food is sizzling on the hot plate. Ordered two monjayaki (five ingredients and seafood). Ingredients is fresh and lesser sauce as compared to other monjayaki that I had previously. However, it also means u get to have a thin crispy crust at the base too. I find the seafood one slightly on the salty side with the crackers added in.
