The Ritz-Carlton Café & Deli — Restaurant in Tokyo

I went to this place with high expectations I was expecting to be at similar level as other cafe places at other 5 star hotels in Tokyo. But this is not a 5 star hotel cafeteria. It just happen to be under the hotel and it shares the name but the quality is not to that standard.

The worst was the quality of the tea, it had definitely not enough amount of leave in it. I would expect this for a complementary tea at a restaurant but definitely not for a 950¥ tea.

We had two cakes, I don't remember the names, nothing memorable the one with orange and chocolate but it was correct. The other one with marron-something and profiteroles it is the same quality the one you may expect. get server at a Starbucks or other chain. Definitely disappointing.

A more minor thing but that I cannot understand why it happened is that they informed us the cake of the day (chocolate one) was over for the day but after us we could see how a couple got served with 2 of this about an hour later than us. A few things could have happened, maybe they reserved it before, so who knows, I am not mad at that.

In general, not a place I recommend to expend you money at, probably better save a little bit more and go upstairs to the 45F or if you don't have the budget just go to Starbucks or similar you will end up with something of similar quality and...

昨日 カフェデリで キノコサラダ パスタ 炭酸水をいただきました。

サラダはボリュームも味付けも 万人受けしそう。

パスタは 麺の形状や長さが想像と違った。 ショートで ソースが余ります。 ロングパスタで出した方がよさげ。

とにかく グラスやお皿が 巨大なため テーブルに2つ乗せられた瞬間 大食い中の印象をまわりに与える でっかさ。

持ち帰りで チョコレートケーキ お薦めフルーツタルト ミニシューケーキ3種類 チョコレート全種類12個 を持ち帰りました。

シューケーキは 3㎝サイズ1個と思って

箱を開けたら 3個がつながってる💦

ちっちゃいのを3個買ったつもりが

3個つながったやつ×3個

9個分やないか～い。

夕食を抜いて シューケーキ フルーツタルト チョコレートケーキを いただきました。

チョコレートケーキは リピートするかも。 濃厚で食べやすい。 特別感はないが 濃厚なチョコレートケーキを 食べたくなったらまた買います

そして チョコレート。 お店の方がお薦めなチョコレートは ハート型と リッツ・カールトンとかかれたやつ

リッツ・カールトンと書いたチョコレートは 紅茶味

その他 ラム味

あともう1個はマンゴー

合計5個を 連続で食べてみた。 マンゴーが美味しい。

ただ チョコレートにやや厚みがあり 全体的にもっちりしてます。

個人的には プリンスホテルのチョコレートが 衝撃の美味しさで 何度もまとめ買いでリピしてますが (10回は、、) プリンスホテルの マンゴー オレンジ このチョコレートにはかないませんでした。

チョコレートに厚みがあるのが 好きな方は リッツ・カールトンは良いかと思います。

ペニンシュラチョコレートと 同等レベル。

チョコレートそのものの味だと メゾンドショコラが上。

プリンスはフルーツ味のチョコレートが 恐ろしくうまい。 フルーツソース(ジャム？)に チョコレートが 金箔のように薄くついて 食べて衝撃だったから なかなか越えるのは厳しい。

脱線しましたが リッツ・カールトンカフェデリは 気軽に行けそうな店だし 次回は サンドイッチと シフォンケーキを 食べてみようと思う

昨日2回目の利用。 知人を連れてお邪魔した。 混んでて席が空くまで待っている間 チョコレートを2個ずつ注文して 頂いた。 が、 プリンスホテルのチョコレートが ここよりずっと美味しいな、、 と二人とも同じ評価。

席に座ってからは 軽食は 豚肉パニーニ エビアボカドサンドイッチ と アイスティーノーマルとノーマルじゃないやつを注文。

まずアイスティーがきた。

自慢というノーマルのアイスティーは 相方が飲んだ。

一口目飲んだら超酸っぱ、、の反応。

一口飲ませてもらったが レモン水みたい。😵💦

一方 私の方は ノーマルではないアイスティー

飲んだ瞬間。 味薄～。😢⤵️⤵️

形容すると 白湯。。

The atmosphere of the cafe is relaxed and comfortable. It was very hot that day, so I had an iced coffee and vanilla ice cream. The vanilla was very rich and the container was full of it. I recommend this place for vanilla ice cream lovers!
