Tokyo Rakkyo Brothers — Restaurant in Tokyo

Very terrible experience.

There are so many restaurant around here, (wahkee for example for some HK food, and the once at the backgate of Waseda Uni) and you could have better choice. There is one soup curry restaurant nearby at Kagurazaka, which also requires some reasonable wait but the food is so much better and worth the wait.

Specifically, I arrived at 13:30 and there was a queue. Asked the staff and the answer was there is at least 30min wait. Thought 30min was acceptable so I waited for 1hr. The thing is, during this 1hr only 2 groups of people finished and went out of the restaurant. And it took TEN MINUNTES for the staff to do whatever they do and admit the next group in line. Another curious thing is, the people who was sitting at the counter (which to me does not seem like a place where you could spend a long time), none of them finished and left during the 1 hour. I’m starting to suspect that they “work” for the restaurant. Anyways, I had the food for once back in time, and it does NOT worth any wait longer than 30min.

Whatever, don’t come to this place unless you are after a terrible experience and food...

If you can eat spice: Good for the 10th level of spiciness. The extra 100 yen is worth it, albeit still still mild to my taste.

Also one server and cashier seems to have issues dealing with simple tasks. I'm speaking to them in perfect Japanese but still something feels very slow. Anyways, they only take cash so do remember...

The food is very tasty. I have been here a few times and really enjoy everything. The lunchtime menu is worth the price I think (its still a bit pricey, but the food is super good). Sometimes the staff provides good service, however other times they provide horrible service which is why I would give...
